(Macon, Bibb County, Georgia, November 20, 2019) – Art Barry III, SIOR with Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry of Macon, Georgia, has announced the lease of 66,500 square feet of the former FedEx office/warehouse located at 244 Mercer Junction in Macon, Georgia.
This facility was a build-to-suit for FedEx Ground and was completed in 2011. FedEx has a newer 240,000 square foot facility erected in Macon, GA beside the newest Amazon Fulfillment Center in the USA. Upon completion, FedEx relocated there freeing up their original Macon office warehouse.
The tenant, IPL, Inc., a Quebec Canada corporation, is a leading North American manufacturer of injection-molded plastic products for the food and bulk packaging, environment, and material handling sectors since 1939. They will utilize this facility for their distribution warehouse.
Barry represented the Landlord in the negotiation of a new 10 year lease.
