(Macon, Georgia, June 5, 2012) – Arthur P. Barry III, SIOR with Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry, Inc. of Macon, Georgia, brokered the sale of the former Boreflex Manufacturing facility in Tennille, Georgia to G and B Haggar, LLC.
Boreflex Manufacturing Company made underground extruded plastic pipe at the Tennille location for the past 10 years. They employed 35 people through the end of operations February, 2011. Boreflex consolidated its operations in Tennille to a larger facility in Sandersville, Georgia at that time. The Tennille facility contained over 42,000 square feet of manufacturing/warehouse space on a 10 acre campus.
The purchaser, G and B Haggar, will open and conduct an import-export business of Australian manufactured goods delivered to and then redistributed from the Tennille facility. Mr. Hagar estimates the employment at this location to be upwards of a dozen positions within a year after opening.
