FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Eastman, Georgia, February 21, 2014) – Arthur P. Barry III, SIOR with Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry, Inc. of Macon, Georgia, brokered the sale of the former Spurlock Vehicles manufacturing facility in Eastman, Dodge County, Georgia to a Michigan based agricultural chemicals company.
Spurlock Vehicles Inc. (Nashville, TN based) previously manufactured custom delivery systems, haulers, trailers & pull-behind vehicle components. Closed in 2010, Spurlock once employed 100 persons in Eastman, GA.
The Spurlock facility is comprised of two fabrication buildings and offices totaling 52,400 square feet on ten plus acres in Dodge County Industrial Park.
The Purchaser, Agroliquids Inc., will mix specialty bulk fertilizer for liquid spray applications. All materials will be delivered by a railroad spur serving the property. Agroliquids will be hiring local labor to staff the new location.
