(Vidalia, Georgia, April 26, 2013) – Arthur P. Barry III, SIOR with Coldwell Banker Commercial Eberhardt & Barry, Inc. of Macon, Georgia, brokered the sale of the former Westinghouse/ Thomas & Betts facility in Vidalia, Georgia today. Meadows Healthcare Alliance purchased the property as a potential site for the adjacent, newly completed Meadows Regional Hospital.
This facility was previously a Westinghouse/Thomas & Betts motor manufacturing complex and closed in 1990. The building contained 187,000± square feet of manufacturing and distribution warehouse space, located on 44.2 acres of land. The Purchaser plans to demolish the building, then reposition the acreage for immediate medical development.
